|Project:||Demolition/Asbestos Removal of Foxhills Technology College|
|Location:||Foxhills Road, Scunthorpe, DN15 8LJ|
Ron Hull Demolition was successful in securing the contract to remove all asbestos and carry out demolition works at Foxhills Technology College, Scunthorpe. This was undertaken during several phases, many of which whilst the College was still in operation.
Following the removal of the asbestos by the in house licensed asbestos division, the buildings were internally soft stripped and demolished down to the underside of foundation level. Due diligence was given to the surrounding school Environment at all times.
During the demolition, stringent dust suppression techniques were employed to minimise dust impact on the surrounding school and local residential area. Together with the Client representative, the RHDL Supervisor monitored dust and noise emissions on the local Environment constantly.
On completion of demolition works all hardcore arisings were recycled on site for the Client's reuse during the construction of the new school thus negating the extent of traffic movements to and from site.
On completion of the works, each phase was handed back over to May Gurney on budget and in time, with commendations from the Client representative on site.
