The project comprised the demolition, dismantling and site clearance of Blending Plant, Nitram Blend Conveyor and associated equipment at GrowHow UK Ltd, Portrack, Billingham.

The project was won in competition through one of the country's leading Demolition Consulting Engineers, acting for the client.

The work was undertaken in a live Petro-Chemical environment and included a combination of high reach demolition techniques, and precise manual preparation work on the conveyor cross-over section, prior to heavy duty crane lift down.

We established the site just prior to Christmas 2009, in accordance with the client's wishes, ready to commence our clean down operations early in the New Year.

The whole of the work was completed in a period of eight weeks, ahead of programme, and to cost.
